  • What causes this issue?

    The entire procedure note from the clearing house is as follows:
    <LS>552020206 Reference date of the employer is before the start of the
    year (for entry date as of March 1 of the current year)</>
    This is a rejection at employee level.
    A registration for the previous year is rejected by the clearing house
    if it is received after March 1.
    The system does not currently prevent the creation of the registration.

    System Response

    The <LS>Fiscal Data D</> infotype (0012) is not updated.

    How to fix this error?

    Register the employee for January 1 of the current year. To do so, in
    the <LS>Fiscal Data D</> infotype (0012), select the <PF>Force
    Registration</> checkbox. For the period in the previous year, enter
    the tax features manually.

    The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.
