  • Show details Hide details
  • What causes this issue?

The employee used a monthly list to provide new ELStAM data with a
validity date in the future. Before the validity start date of this
ELStAM data, the clearing house supplies the ELStAM data again with a
validity date that is before the date of the last-supplied ELStAM data.

The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.

    Example:
    1. The November monthly list for 2013 provides ELStAM data with January
1, 2014 as the validity start date.
    2. The December monthly list for 2013 provides ELStAM data with December
15, 2013 as the validity start date.

    System Response

During the check, the "last will and testament" principle is used for
the validity of the ELStAM data. The ELStAM data that was supplied first
is no longer valid if the validity of the subsequent ELStAM data is
    before this validity date.
In the example above, it is assumed that the ELStAM data of the December
monthly list is also valid in the period as of January 1, 2014, and not
the data from the November monthly list.

    How to fix this error?

Clarify this situation with your employee and maintain the valid
employment tax deduction feature in infotype Tax Data D (IT0012).
