The SAP error message HRPADRU_COMMON_REPS801 indicates that the number range for a specific ID (identified by &1) with a key (identified by &2) on a specific date (identified by &3) has been exceeded. This typically occurs in the context of HR (Human Resources) processes, particularly when dealing with personnel numbers, employee IDs, or other identifiers that require unique numbering.

    Cause:

    1. Exhausted Number Range: The most common cause is that the defined number range for the specific ID has been fully utilized. This can happen if the number range is not large enough to accommodate the volume of records being created.
    2. Configuration Issues: There may be a misconfiguration in the number range settings, such as incorrect intervals or limits set in the number range object.
    3. Date-Specific Limitations: The error may also arise if the number range is set to reset or change based on specific dates, and the current date exceeds the defined limits.

    Solution:

    1. Check Number Range Configuration:

      • Go to transaction SNRO (Number Range Objects) and check the configuration for the relevant number range object.
      • Verify the intervals and ensure that there are sufficient numbers available in the range.
    2. Extend the Number Range:

      • If the number range is exhausted, you may need to extend it. This can be done by:
        • Modifying the existing number range to increase the upper limit.
        • Creating a new number range if necessary.
      • Ensure that the new range does not overlap with existing ranges.
    3. Review Date Settings:

      • Check if there are any date-specific settings that might be causing the number range to reset or limit the available numbers.
      • Adjust the settings if needed to ensure continuity.
    4. Consult Documentation:

      • Review SAP documentation or notes related to the specific number range object to understand any peculiarities or additional configurations that may be required.
    5. Testing:

      • After making changes, perform tests to ensure that the number range is functioning correctly and that new records can be created without errors.

    Related Information:

    • Transaction Codes:
      • SNRO: To manage number range objects.
