    for details).

    How to fix this error?

    <ZH>Teachers' Pension state...</>
    <ZK>?If a member is overpaid salary then the contributions will need to
    be re-evaluated for the pay periods affected as the member will have
    overpaid contributions on the overpaid salary, potentially at a higher
    rate than ought to have applied. The correction of contributions and
    refund to the member should be accounted for in the Monthly
    Contributions Breakdown. The service return will need to show the
    correct pay for the applicable periods.?</>

    The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.

    <ZH>GBLGP </>will handle this as follows;
    GBLGP will issue a warning message if an employee is in a Teachers'
    Pension Scheme and moves from a higher percentage to a lower percentage.
    The payroll team can then look for this message using the Payroll
    Exception Report and then decide whether the employee has been overpaid
    salary or not in this case. If they have then they should adjust their
    Pensionable Pay (see below for details) and force assessment
    retrospectively.
    A new override wage type (LGP1) is available to trigger Forced
    Assessment in any specific period - see note 2122097 (PY-GB-PS: GBLGP:
    Manually Forcing Assessment (Wage Type LGP1)) for more details. This can
    be used for ANY scheme where assessment is controlled by GBLGP.
    <ZH>GBAPP</> will handle this as follows;
    Customers will need to use the Pensionable Pay override wage type E162
    (and E163) to adjust Pensionable Pay for these scenarios as the system
    won?t be able to know automatically what the adjustments should be in
    each affected FOR period. (N.B This will only be necessary in cases
    where the reduction in salary causes a change in rate in the current
    period ? to a lower rate than used previously.)
