  • What causes this issue?

    The payroll function GEXCP will issue this error message if the
    following conditions have been met.
    1) The employee is covered under "TAPERED" or "TRANSITION" arrangements
    in their Contract Elements infotype (0016) and
    2) The current payroll period <ZH>OVERLAPS</> their (Tapered) Transition
    date and
    3) The employee is in a FINAL SALARY scheme on the day before their
    (Tapered) Transition date and
    4) The employee IS NOT in a CARE scheme on the day of their (Tapered)
    Transition date.

    System Response

    This is an error that must be corrected.

    How to fix this error?

    EITHER ,,correct the employee's Pension Scheme Details infotype (0071)
    OR ,,,,correct the employee's Contract Elements infotype (0016)
    In the most extreme cases, the Pension Scheme Details will be valid and
    the user will have no choice but to either clear out the Transition
    Arrangements field (TRNTY) on the Contract Elements infotype (0016) or
    change it to a different value. It is very unlikely that the employee's
    Date Of Birth will be incorrect.
