Message number: 006
Message text: MPT Warning: P45 details should be present
The payroll is processing a period that is subject to the rules that
govern a Mid-Period Transfer (MPT) with a Tax Reference Change.
The payroll issues a warning that the "in-coming" P45 details should
have been entered, before running the payroll.
Run the P45 program for this employee for the last payroll period of
their previous payroll area (i.e. before the MPT).
A P45 should be produced for the employee, because they have changed Tax
Reference.
The P45 should not include any amounts that are being cleared during the
current pay run (i.e. payroll periods under the previous payroll
frequency that are to be aggregated within the current Tax Period).
Use the "out-going" P45 information as "in-coming" P45 information for
the current payroll period.
The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.
