What causes this issue?

You have changed this employee from being in the Main section of the
scheme to being in the 50/50 section of the scheme.

System Response

A warning message is issued to ensure that the user is warned to check
other pension arrangements that may be in place.
If a member elects to move to the 50/50 section: any existing additional
pension contribution contract which is at whole cost to employee must
cease (unless it is to purchase an amount of pension #lost# due to
industrial action).
Any shared cost additional pension contribution contract must continue
(as such a contract is to purchase an amount of pension #lost# during a
period of authorised leave of absence or during a period of unpaid
additional maternity, paternity or adoption leave), unless the member
elects to terminate the contract. Any AVC or Shared Cost AVC contract
continues, unless the member elects to terminate the contract.
A member in the 50/50 section cannot commence payment of an additional
pension contribution contract which is at whole cost to the employee
(unless it is to purchase an amount of pension #lost# due to industrial
action).
A member in the 50/50 section can commence payment of a shared cost
additional pension contribution contract only if such a contribution is
to purchase an amount of pension #lost# during a period of authorised
leave of absence or during a period of unpaid additional maternity,
paternity or adoption leave, and can commence payment of an AVC or
Shared Cost AVC contract.

How to fix this error?

Check the other pension contributions that may be in place for this
employee (i.e. other subtypes of IT0071 or pension deductions against
the employee's record (i.e. IT0015, IT0014, IT0008)).
If there are any then decide whether they should be ceased or not.
