  • What causes this issue?

    The incoming form can no longer be processed, as the date on the form
    belongs to a previous tax year (for which all payroll periods have been
    run).

    System Response

    The system does not allow this change since the incoming form is not
    relevant for the current tax year. The infotype record cannot be updated
    for the previous tax year.

    How to fix this error?

    If the control record for the employee's payroll area has not been
    exited in the last payroll period, it is possible to open the control
    record for corrections. In this case, the form can be processed back to
    the beginning of that payroll period.
    In all other circumstances, you should confirm the record as an error.

    Procedure for System Administrators

    The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.
