    determine the values of a number of fields to be printed on the COBRA
    letter, such as the begin and end date of the COBRA maximum coverage
    period, the end date of the COBRA election period, and so on. However,
    the Customizing data underlying this information could not be read from
    either the <ZK>COBRA Maximum Coverage Period</> view (V_T5UDC) or the
    <ZK>COBRA Administrative Data</> view (V_T5UDD).

    System Response

    The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.

    How to fix this error?

    Ensure that maximum coverage periods are set up for all legally defined
    qualifying event types in the COBRA section of Benefits Customizing, in
    the activity <LS>Define Qualifying Event Coverage Periods</>.
    In the activity <LS>Define Notification and Payment Intervals</>, make
    sure that administrative details are set up for those states where
    state law concerning COBRA differs from federal law. At the minimum, an
    entry must exist for the District of Columbia, reflecting the federal
    regulations.
