Message class: HRBAS00_SERVICE - Messages for Objects in Package SP00_SERVICE
Message number: 102
Message text: Specify one object or omit the evaluation path
You have entered an evaluation path but you have not specified a unique
start object.
The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.
You can select the objects that are to be archived in two ways:
Select the objects to be archived directly using the selection criteria:
plan version, object type, and object ID. The write program processes
those objects that fulfill the selection criteria. In this case, you
must not enter an evaluation path.
Furthermore, you should only enter internal object types.
Select the objects to be archived using a start object and an evaluation
path. In this case, you enter an evaluation path and specify a precise
start object. To do this, you must enter one value in all of the
above-named selection parameters. If you select objects using an
evaluation path, you can also enter an external object as the start
object.

HRBAS00_SERVICE102
- Specify one object or omit the evaluation path ?The SAP error message HRBAS00_SERVICE102 typically occurs in the context of HR (Human Resources) module evaluations, particularly when using evaluation paths in the context of infotype processing or when trying to access certain HR data.
Cause:
The error message indicates that the system requires you to specify one object (such as a personnel number or organizational unit) when executing a particular function or report. Alternatively, if you do not want to specify an object, you must omit the evaluation path. This can happen in scenarios where the evaluation path is ambiguous or not properly defined, leading the system to require clarification on which object to process.
Solution:
To resolve this error, you can take the following steps:
Specify an Object: If the evaluation path requires a specific object, ensure that you provide the necessary object identifier (e.g., personnel number, organizational unit) in the selection screen or input fields.
Omit the Evaluation Path: If you do not want to specify an object, check if you can run the evaluation without an evaluation path. This may involve changing the selection criteria or using a different report or transaction that does not require an evaluation path.
Check Evaluation Path Configuration: If you are a system administrator or have access to configuration settings, review the evaluation path settings in the system. Ensure that the evaluation paths are correctly defined and that they align with the objects you are trying to evaluate.
Consult Documentation: Refer to SAP documentation or help resources for the specific transaction or report you are using. There may be additional parameters or settings that need to be adjusted.
Contact Support: If the issue persists, consider reaching out to your SAP support team or consulting with SAP support for further assistance. They may provide insights specific to your system configuration or version.
