Message class: G01 - SAP Consolidation
Message number: 169
Message text: Dimension Y1 does not exist
In SAP S/4HANA consolidation, only <ZH>one</> dimension is allowed; this
dimension must have the characteristic value Y1.
When copying between dimensions for transfer to SAP S/4HANA, the system
uses characteristic value Y1 for the <LS>target dimension </> as the
destination for the copy.
Dimension Y1 does not exist in the system. This means that the system
cannot execute the copy function from the source dimension to dimension
Y1.
The system terminates the copy function with an error message.
Create dimension Y1 manually (by using transaction CX1K).
The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.

SAP messages fall into 3 different categories: Error messages
(message type = E), Warnings (W) or Informational (I) messages.
An error message will prevent you from continuing your work - it is a hard stop and you need to fix the error before you can proceed. A warning message will stop your work, however, you can then bypass the warning by pressing the Enter key on your keyboard. That said, it is still good practice to investigate the cause of the warning message and address it. An information message will not stop your work and is truly just for informational purposes.
