Cause:
The error occurs when you attempt to modify a batch entry for an article that is currently involved in a transfer order. Solution:
To resolve this error, you can take the following steps:
Check Active Transfer Orders:
- Use transaction codes like LT03 (Create Transfer Order) or LT12 (Confirm Transfer Order) to check if there are any active transfer orders for the specified article and distribution center.
- If there are active transfer orders, you may need to wait until they are completed or canceled before making changes to the batch entry.
Cancel or Complete Transfer Orders:
- If the transfer order is no longer needed, you can cancel it using transaction code LT0F (Cancel Transfer Order).
- If the transfer order is still valid, ensure it is completed and confirmed properly.
Review Batch Management Settings:
- Ensure that the batch management settings for the article are correctly configured. This includes checking if the article is batch-managed and if the batch determination process is set up correctly.
Consult with Logistics Team:
- If you are unsure about the status of the transfer orders or the implications of canceling them, consult with your logistics or warehouse management team to understand the impact of any changes.
Check for Other Dependencies:
- Sometimes, other processes or transactions may be locking the batch entry. Ensure that there are no other transactions that could be causing the lock.
