Message text: Login of the host to the PC & unsuccessful
The attempt of the host to log on to the PC via TCP/IP failed. The
error probably occurred because the user name determined on the PC and
the password do not correspond to the user using the SAP system and the
password.
The host - and therefore the SAP system - consequently have no access
to the PC. Therefore, you cannot access the drives of the PC.
The first requirement is that the user of the SAP system is logged on
to a PC (with the operating system OS/2 or DOS) and installed TCP/IP
software.
To enable transfer via TCP/IP, the following must be prepared for the
PC:
Access for the host to TCP/IP software must be allowed.
For TCP/IP from Essex, the file PASSWD.TXT is created or extended with
the entry:
,,SAPR3 SAP
,,[blank line]
For TCP/IP version 1.21 from IBM, a file TRUSERS must analogously be
available with the contents:
,,users: SAPR3 SAP
,,rd: a:\ b:\
,,wr: a:\ b:\
,,[blank line]
