What causes this issue?

This error message can have different causes:
The program was not run on a PC with a drive.
The drive does not exist.
When writing to the hard disk, the subdirectory is not specified as a
valid subdirectory under the system parameter "dta/allow" of the SAP
system profile.

System Response

The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.

How to fix this error?

For 1: Run the program on a PC.
For 2: Specify the correct drive (A,B or C).
For 3: Maintain the subdirectory in the system profile or use the
subdirectory already maintained there.
