  • What causes this issue?

The System requires you to enter a location, however you have not
selected a location from the list.

    System Response

When you enter the required data the data is transferred to the
connected reservation System (for example, Amadeus or Sabre) and a
database query take places. The data is stored in the reservation in
such a way that it is necessary to enter a location.
The locations that can be entered at this point are limited to the
around 14 000 locations defined by IATA, these locations are, by
definition, called IATA locations. Generally these locations are
locations with airports (IATA is the main organization for all major
airlines in the world), but they can also include locations that do not
have an airport or train station.
You can search for locations by entering the three character IATA
abbreviation for the location (for example, LON for London), or the
abbreviation for an airport (for example, LHR for London Heathrow). If
several locations have the same name, the system asks you to confirm
which area you require. If, for example, you enter the location
'London', you may be looking for the small town in Canada, or the
    capital city of Great Britain.
If you do not know the complete name of the location, you can also
enter part of the name followed by an asterisk. Entering London*, for
example, will provide you with a list of all locations beginning with
London, including London (England), London (Canada) and Londonderry
    (Northern Ireland).
If you have to search for locations that are not IATA locations on a
regular basis, your System should be set up so that the intuitive entry
of this location is possible. Example: The location WALLDORF, which is
not an IATA location, is required on a regular basis. In this case,
your System should be set up so that if someone enters this location, a
hotel search would be started automatically for hotels belonging to the
IATA location HDB (Heidelberg), and a flight query would automatically
start a query for flights to the IATA location FRA (Frankfurt). If your
System is missing the option to directly enter such locations, you
    should contact your System admistrators.

    How to fix this error?

Re-enter the location. You can either repeat the last entry and select
a location from the list provided, or enter a different location.
