    One or more phases of the current project have been assigned to decision
    points of a portfolio item. However, the mapping and synchronization of
    phases with decision points is only supported in projects with
    sequential phase processing. You cannot switch to non-sequential phase
    processing.

    The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.

    How to fix this error?

    If you want to use non-sequential phase processing, first delete the
    assignments between the phases and decision points in the linked
    portfolio item. Proceed as follows:
    In the project, choose <LS>Item</>.
    Open the <LS>Relationships</> view and go to the <LS>Related Objects</>
    subview.
    In the <LS>Assignments</> table, select your project and choose
    <LS>Assign Subobjects</>.
    Delete the subobject assignments.
    Save the item.
