  • What causes this issue?

    You want to assign a task list group number externally. However, your
    number does not lie in an interval that is permitted for external
    number assignments.

    How to fix this error?

    Select your task list group number from an interval that is eligible
    for external number assignments.
    To see which intervals are eligible for external number assignment:
    Look under the link <ZH>Number range for PM General task list
    </>.
    Select <ZH>Interval -> Display</>. On the screen <ZH>Display number
    range interval</> is displayed. All the intervals displayed there, for
    which the indicator is set to <ZH>Ext</> are eligible for external
    number assignment.

    The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.
