    You want to assign a group number externally. However, your number is
    not within an interval valid for external number assignment.

    How to fix this error?

    Choose your group number from an interval that is valid for external
    number assignment.
    To see which intervals are valid for external number assignment,
    proceed as follows:
    Choose the <ZH>Number ranges for inspection plans</> link below.
    Choose <ZH>Interval -> Display</>. The <ZH>Display Number Range
    Intervals</> screen appears. All intervals displayed there, where the
    <ZH>Ext</> indicator is set, are valid for external number assignment.

    The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.
