What causes this issue?

You want to implement a product change for a contract item. The old
contract item had <DS:DE.COMT_PRODUCT_ID>product</> &V1& with
<DS:DE.COMT_PRODUCT_TYPE>product category</> &V2& and
<DS:DE.CRMT_ITEM_CAT_GROUP>product category group</> &V3&. You want to
assign product &V4& to the new contract item. The new product must have
the same product category and product category groups as the previous
product. However, for the product you selected &V4&, this is not the
case.
