  • Show details Hide details
  • What causes this issue?

    You changed the user status.

    System Response

The system does not allow the new user status. There are conflicts with
    other statuses in the transaction.

    How to fix this error?

The new user status triggers a process, which is not allowed for the old
user status or the current system status (e.g. process FINI). Change
the user status back to an earlier user status which allows the new
status you want to set. Else check the system status if it possibly
forbids a process, which is triggered by the new user status.

    Procedure for System Administrators

Check, if the status profile is maintained correctly in transactin
    CRMBS02.

  • What is the cause and solution for SAP error message CRM_STATUS011 - User status '&1' must not be set ?

The SAP error message CRM_STATUS011 indicates that a user status (represented by &1) cannot be set for a particular business object in the SAP CRM system. This error typically arises when there are restrictions or conditions defined in the status management configuration that prevent the specified user status from being applied.

    Cause:

    1. Status Configuration: The user status you are trying to set may have been configured in such a way that it cannot be applied in the current context. This could be due to dependencies on other statuses or conditions that must be met before the status can be set.
    2. Status Transition Rules: There may be defined status transition rules that restrict moving to the desired user status from the current status.
    3. Business Logic: Certain business processes may dictate that specific statuses cannot be set under certain conditions (e.g., if the object is in a particular state).
    4. Authorization Issues: The user may not have the necessary authorizations to set the specified status.

    Solution:

    1. Check Status Configuration: Review the configuration of the user status in the status management settings. Ensure that the status you are trying to set is allowed in the current context.

      • Transaction Code: BS02 (for status profile) or CRMD_ORDER (for business transactions).
    2. Review Status Transition Rules: Look into the status transition rules to see if there are any restrictions that prevent the transition to the desired status.

      • You can check the status profile assigned to the business object and see the allowed transitions.
    3. Check Current Status: Verify the current status of the business object. If the object is in a status that does not allow the transition to the desired user status, you may need to change the current status first.

    4. Consult Documentation: If you are unsure about the status configuration, consult the SAP documentation or your organization's SAP support team for guidance on the specific status management setup.

    5. Authorization Check: Ensure that the user has the necessary authorizations to change the status. You may need to contact your SAP security team to verify or adjust user roles.

    6. Debugging: If the issue persists, consider debugging the process to identify any underlying logic that may be causing the restriction.
