Message text: BW update failed for master data or hierarchy; extract your data again
The master data or hierarchy data for marketing element &1 was
locked in SAP NetWeaver Business Warehouse (SAP NetWeaver BW) and
therefore could not be updated.
The online BW update was canceled.
Extract the following extraction suite in exactly the following sequence
for the InfoObject 0CRM_MKTELM in SAP NetWeaver BW:
Master Data Attributes Extractor
Text Extractor
Hierarchy Extractor
If you upload a large volume of trade promotions at once, we recommend
that you switch off the online BW update.
You can disable the online BW update in Customizing, under: <LS>Customer
Relationship Management </>-><LS> Marketing </>-><LS>Marketing Planning
and Campaign Management </>-><LS> System Landscape </>-><LS> Activate BI
Update</>. You do this by deselecting the <LS>Active </>checkbox. ->
After you have uploaded all the trade promotions successfully, switch
the online BW update back on by selecting the <LS>Active </>checkbox in
the Customizing activity described above.
Then execute the master data attributes, texts, and hierarchy extractors
for the InfoObject 0CRM_MKTELM in SAP NetWeaver BW as described above.
The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.
