  • What causes this issue?

    You want to create an inspection characteristic outside of the dialog
    transaction for task list processing using a function module (in direct
    input or using a BAPI). The control indicators for the inspection
    characteristic are not clear. You have entered at least 2 of the
    following at the same time:
    1) Single control indicators
    2) Control key as default for control indicators
    3) Master inspection characteristic and data import mode 'L' or 'C'
    (reference, or copy and lock)

    System Response

    The inspection characteristic is not created, the task list is not
    saved.

    How to fix this error?

    Specify the control indicators clearly.
