  • What causes this issue?

When defining an XSL style sheet for a cockpit or PI sheet, the
component ID (<LS>_bfw_key_</>) creates the connection between a
component in the PI sheet or cockpit (such as an input field) and the
SAP system. You may assign the component ID to a component type only
    once.
In the XSL style sheet you are using, however, component ID &V2& was
assigned to component type &V1& more than once.

    System Response

The system only creates the component whose component ID appears first
in the XSL style sheet. It ignores all other components with the same
ID. This means that these components are not active in the cockpit or PI
    sheet.

    How to fix this error?

Check the assignment of component ID &V2& to component type &V1& in the
XSL style sheet you are using.

  • What is the cause and solution for SAP error message CPOC335 - ID &2, type &1: component ID &2 was used more than once ?

The SAP error message CPOC335 indicates that a component ID has been used more than once in a specific context, which is not allowed. This error typically arises in scenarios involving configuration or planning, such as in SAP Advanced Planning and Optimization (APO) or SAP Production Planning (PP).

    Cause:

    The error occurs when:

    • A component (identified by its ID) is assigned multiple times within the same context (e.g., a bill of materials, a production order, or a planning scenario).
    • This duplication can lead to inconsistencies in planning or execution, as the system expects each component to be unique within its context.

    Solution:

To resolve this error, you can take the following steps:

    1. Identify the Duplicate Component:

      • Review the context in which the error occurred (e.g., the specific order, planning scenario, or BOM).
      • Check the list of components to identify where the duplicate entry exists.
    2. Remove or Modify the Duplicate:

      • If the component is indeed duplicated, decide whether to remove one of the entries or modify the configuration to ensure that each component ID is unique.
      • If the duplication is intentional (e.g., if you need the same component for different purposes), consider restructuring the configuration to accommodate this requirement.
    3. Validate Changes:

      • After making the necessary adjustments, validate the changes to ensure that the error no longer occurs.
      • Test the configuration or planning scenario to confirm that it behaves as expected.
    4. Consult Documentation:

      • If you are unsure about the implications of removing or modifying a component, consult SAP documentation or seek advice from a knowledgeable colleague or SAP consultant.

    Related Information:

    • Transaction Codes: Depending on the context, you may need to use specific transaction codes to view or edit the relevant data (e.g., CS01 for creating BOMs, CO01 for production orders).
    • SAP Notes: Check for any relevant SAP Notes that may address this specific error or provide additional guidance.
    • System Logs: Review system logs for any additional error messages or warnings that may provide further context about the issue.

By following these steps, you should be able to resolve the CPOC335 error and ensure that your configuration is correct.
