  • What causes this issue?

    When order split is carried out, a part of the requirements quantity of
    the material component in the child order is diverted. The diverted
    quantity is determined by the split quantity. After executing the
    split, the requirements quantity that remains in the parent order is
    smaller than the quantity already withdrawn. The surplus amount covers
    part of the requirements quantity of the component in the child order.
    This results in a requirement for this component that is too high.

    System Response

    The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.

    How to fix this error?

    Cancel the withdrawal of the surplus quantity of the component before
    executing the split or immediately after saving the split.
