  • What causes this issue?

    The serial number &V2& is to be distributed to a manufacturing execution
    system (MES) with the current production order. However, it is already
    assigned to production order &V1&. As a rule, a certain serial number
    may only be distributed to an MES once.

    System Response

    The system issues a warning if production order &V1& is not relevant for
    distribution to an MES.
    However, if production order &V1& is also relevant for distribution to
    an MES or has already been distributed there, the serial number &V2&
    cannot simply be assigned to the current order. Depending on the system
    setting, the system issues a warning or an error message.

    How to fix this error?

    Choose another serial number.

    production orders in the <DS:SIMG.TCOSERNRCHECK>Implementation Guide</>.

    The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.
