  • Show details Hide details
  • What causes this issue?

In the component list an exchange lines was split, where a
notification long text was maintained for it. When splitting the
line into two lines the text had to be split, too.

The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.

    Prerequisite:
Before the split was done, no long text was linked to the single
components. Instead the notification long text was directly
maintained for the exchange line exclusively.

    System Response

After the split the install component carries the notification
long text formally that was formally linked to the exchange line.
This is done in order to ensure that no data is lost.

    How to fix this error?

o The originally entered text of the exchange line is linked to the
install component and has to be checked for consistency.
o The remove component does not contain any text and might
    therefore require enhancement.
