  • Show details Hide details
  • What causes this issue?

In the component list two lines were merged, where text was
maintained for each of the two components. When merging the two
lines the text had to be merged, too.

    System Response

The notification long text of the exchange line now carries the
text that was formally linked to the 'install' component. The
text related to the remove component is not shown.

    How to fix this error?

Check the notification long text of the exchange line, keeping
    the following in mind:

The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.

    - When directly saving the exchange line after the merge, one
notification for the install and one for the remove component
is created accordingly. Both notifications will get the same
text, namely the one from the exchange line in the component
    list.
    - If the exchange line is split again before saving, the result
after the split is that the install component carries the text
that was previously linked to the exchange line. The 'old'
original text from the remove component is recovered and
linked accordingly. So after the split the texts differ
between the two components and would be stored accodingly
    during save.
