  • What is the cause and solution for SAP error message CACSRCP103 - Worklist &1 is invalid (merged into worklist &2) ?

The SAP error message CACSRCP103 indicates that a specific worklist (identified by &1) is invalid because it has been merged into another worklist (identified by &2). This typically occurs in the context of SAP Customer Relationship Management (CRM) or similar modules where worklists are used to manage tasks or items.

    Cause:

    1. Worklist Merging: The primary cause of this error is that the worklist you are trying to access (worklist &1) has been merged into another worklist (worklist &2). This can happen due to system processes or user actions that consolidate worklists for better management.
    2. Data Integrity Issues: There may be underlying data integrity issues or inconsistencies in the database that lead to the worklist being marked as invalid.
    3. User Permissions: In some cases, the user may not have the necessary permissions to access the worklist, especially if it has been merged or modified.

    Solution:

    1. Access the Merged Worklist: Instead of trying to access worklist &1, you should access worklist &2, as it contains the items from the original worklist. This is the most straightforward solution.
    2. Check Worklist Status: Verify the status of the worklists involved. You can do this by using transaction codes related to worklist management in SAP CRM.
    3. Review System Logs: Check the system logs for any additional error messages or warnings that might provide more context about the merging process.
    4. Consult Documentation: Refer to SAP documentation or help resources for specific details on worklist management and merging processes.
    5. Contact SAP Support: If the issue persists or if you suspect a deeper problem, consider reaching out to SAP support for assistance. They can provide insights based on the specific configuration and version of your SAP system.

    Related Information:

    • Transaction Codes: Familiarize yourself with relevant transaction codes in SAP CRM that deal with worklists, such as CRMD_ORDER or CRMD_ORDERADM_H.
    • User Roles and Authorizations: Ensure that the user has the appropriate roles and authorizations to access the worklists.
    • System Configuration: Review the configuration settings related to worklist management in your SAP system, as these can affect how worklists are created, merged, and accessed.
