Message text: Postprocessing records exist for delivery &1
Postprocessing records exist for delivery.
You cancel a confirmation for the production order/process order. The
system has recognized that postprocessing records still exist for the
order confirmation in question. These might come from the cancellation
process of the goods receipt.
Background:
The finished product of the order is managed in an EWM storage location.
With the order confirmation, a delivery is generated for the goods
receipt process and distributed to the EWM. If you reject the delivery
in the EWM, the delivery is completed in ERP with a zero quantity. At
the same time, a postprocessing record is written that indicates that
the goods receipt process has failed. The goods receipt process can only
be canceled completely if you also delete the postprocessing record.
Otherwise a new delivery is created when you repost the postprocessing
record, thus triggering the goods receipt process again.
You can set this message as an error message or warning message in
Customizing.
In transaction COGI, you can delete the postprocessing records that come
from the cancellation process of the goods receipt. Thereafter you can
cancel the confirmation for the order.
The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.
