What causes this issue?

"Kit-to-stock" has been activated in the production scheduling profile
&V3& of order &V2&. It is therefore not possible to provide components
for an externally processed operation with subcontracting.

System Response

During the reading of the master data, this message appears in the log
as a warning. At the time of order release, this message is an error
message and release is terminated.

How to fix this error?

Change the production scheduling profile in the order header, unset the
subcontracting indicator, or assign the components to a different
operation.
