C2362
- Requirement dates/times of components in order &1 do not match up ?The SAP error message C2362 indicates that there is a mismatch between the requirement dates or times of components in a production order. This typically occurs when the components required for a production order have different scheduling or availability dates than the order itself. Here’s a breakdown of the cause, potential solutions, and related information:
Cause:
- Mismatch in Dates/Times: The requirement dates/times for the components do not align with the production order's dates. This can happen if the production order is scheduled to start or finish at a time that does not coincide with when the components are available.
- Component Availability: The components may not be available in stock at the required time, leading to a scheduling conflict.
- Routing Issues: The routing for the production order may not be correctly defined, causing discrepancies in the scheduling of components.
- Changes in Production Order: If there have been recent changes to the production order (like rescheduling), it may not have been reflected in the component requirements.
Solutions:
- Check Component Availability: Verify that all components required for the production order are available in stock and that their availability dates align with the production order dates.
- Adjust Production Order Dates: If necessary, adjust the production order's start and finish dates to match the availability of the components.
- Review Routing and BOM: Ensure that the Bill of Materials (BOM) and routing for the production order are correctly defined and that they reflect the correct scheduling.
- Re-schedule the Order: Use the scheduling functions in SAP to re-schedule the production order and its components to ensure they align.
- Check for Changes: If there have been recent changes to the production order, ensure that all related components and schedules have been updated accordingly.
