Message class: C2 - Other messages production orders
Message number: 313
Message text: User status & prohibits scheduling. Enter a date
User status &V1& forbids the 'scheduling' business transaction.
The order scheduling process is carried out again when you save the
order, so that a manually deleted date is redetermined when you save,
and is updated in the order. As scheduling is prevented with the active
user status &V1&, a date must be manually maintained in the order,
because the order - under these circumstances - cannot be saved without
a date.
Enter a corresponding date. The previous manually deleted date was &V2&
.
The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.

The SAP error message C2313 ("User status & prohibits scheduling. Enter a date") typically occurs when you are trying to schedule a task or operation in SAP, but the user status of the object (such as a maintenance order, project, or production order) is set in a way that prevents scheduling. This is often due to the configuration of the user status, which can restrict certain actions based on the current state of the object.
Cause:
- User Status Configuration: The user status assigned to the order or object has been configured to prohibit scheduling. This could be intentional, as certain statuses may indicate that the order is not ready for scheduling (e.g., "Blocked", "In Review", etc.).
- Incomplete Data: The object may not have all the required data filled in, which can also lead to restrictions on scheduling.
- Authorization Issues: The user may not have the necessary authorizations to change the status or schedule the order.
Solution:
Check User Status:
- Navigate to the order or object in question and check the user status. You can do this by going to the status overview in the order details.
- If the status is indeed prohibiting scheduling, you may need to change it to a status that allows scheduling. This can usually be done by a user with the appropriate permissions.
Change User Status:
- If you have the necessary permissions, you can change the user status to one that allows scheduling. This is typically done through the "Status Management" option in the order or object.
- If you do not have the necessary permissions, you will need to contact your SAP administrator or the person responsible for managing user statuses.
Complete Required Data:
- Ensure that all required fields and data for the order or object are filled in correctly. Missing information can sometimes lead to restrictions.
Consult Documentation:
- Review the documentation or configuration settings related to user statuses in your SAP system to understand the implications of the current status.
Contact Support:
- If you are unable to resolve the issue, consider reaching out to your SAP support team for assistance. They can provide insights based on the specific configuration of your SAP environment.

SAP messages fall into 3 different categories: Error messages
(message type = E), Warnings (W) or Informational (I) messages.
An error message will prevent you from continuing your work - it is a hard stop and you need to fix the error before you can proceed. A warning message will stop your work, however, you can then bypass the warning by pressing the Enter key on your keyboard. That said, it is still good practice to investigate the cause of the warning message and address it. An information message will not stop your work and is truly just for informational purposes.
