    The process message with which inspection results are to be reported to
    QM does not contain a characteristic number. However, the
    characteristic number is needed for the assignment of process messages
    within QM.
    The process message is not transferred to QM.

    How to fix this error?

    RESET N1
    Call up the operation or phase of the process order specified in the
    process message and determine the number of the characteristic to which
    the reported inspection results belong.
