    node restrictions are only permitted from the same hierarchy and page
    restrictions.
    You are trying to filter on a characteristic with active presentation
    hierarchy using a node of from a hierarchy or range selection (range,
    pattern search for example).
    This can be done by switching the hierarchy or using the report/report
    interface.

    The filter is not evaluated for the characteristic, and is removed.
