  • What causes this issue?

    The hierarchy cannot be activated since the name of the hierarchy end
    node &V1& contains not permitted characters. Only the characters
    '&V2&&V3&&V4&' are permitted for the name of the hierarchy end node.

    How to fix this error?

    In the hierarchy, change all nodes and end nodes that contain not
    permitted characters.

    Procedure for System Administrators

    Provided that capital letters are being dealt with for these
    characters, you can also declare these as permitted characters. Choose
    the function "Permitted characters" in the main menu of the Business
    Information Warehouse (under global settings) or make the setting in BW
    customizing.
