  • What causes this issue?

    The hierarchy cannot be activated since the node name '&V1&' contains
    not permitted characters. Only the characters '&V2&&V3&&V4&' are allowed
    as values for hierarchy nodes.

    How to fix this error?

    Change all nodes and end nodes in the hierarchy, that contain not
    permitted characters.

    Procedure for System Administrators

    Provided that capital letters are being dealt with for these
    characters, you can also declare these as permitted characters. Choose
    the function "Permitted characters" in the main menu of the Business
    Information Warehouse (under global settings) or make the setting in BW
    customizing.
