Message text: Gas factor &1 cannot be defined uniquely
During <ZH>determination of the gas factor</>, the following error
occurred: It was not possible to determine the gas factor <ZH>uniquely
</>.
To avoid inconsistencies, the system terminates processing.
Check whether you have entered <ZH>all required</> meter readings using
the <ZH>correct meter reading category</> for a device. See the
following notes. If you are unable to solve the problem after reading
these, please contact SAP.

<ZK>For <DS:DE.E_QD_PROC>quantity determination procedure</> 03 -
Quantity Determination During Meter Reading, it is very important that a
<ZH>unique</> </><ZH><ZK>gas factor can be determined</></> for the
<ZK>period between a meter reading and the previous meter reading.</>
<ZK>This includes not changing the </><ZH><ZK>gas procedure</></><ZK>
during this period unless an additional </><ZH><ZK>actual</></><ZK>meter
reading is available for the proration time ( activity day- 1 ).</>
<ZK>The gas procedure implemented must also be set up so that it does
not produce historical factors during this period. This means that you
usually require gas procedures whose components are calculated by </>
<ZH><ZK>averaging</></><ZK> or by using</><ZH><ZK>constant factors</></>
<ZK>.</>
<ZK>If you change the fields </><ZH><ZK>Gas Procedure,</></><ZK> </><ZH>
<ZK>Fixed Temperature</></><ZK>and </><ZH><ZK>Volume Correction Factor
</></><ZK> ( from register), which you change using the transactions
<ZH>EG70</> or <ZH>EC30</>, you also require </><ZH><ZK>actual</></><ZK>
meter readings.</>
<ZK>For additional notes about using the correct meter reading type, see
the long text for the following message <DS:NA.EE_QD106>EE_QD 106</></>
The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.

- Gas factor &1 cannot be defined uniquely ?The SAP error message BIL108, which states "Gas factor &1 cannot be defined uniquely," typically occurs in the context of billing or measurement documents in the SAP system, particularly when dealing with gas measurement and billing processes. This error indicates that the system is unable to determine a unique gas factor for the specified gas type or measurement point.
Cause: The error can arise due to several reasons: Multiple Entries: There may be multiple entries for the same gas factor in the relevant configuration tables, leading to ambiguity. Missing Configuration: The gas factor may not be properly configured in the system, or the necessary master data may be incomplete. Incorrect Data: There could be incorrect or inconsistent data in the master data or transaction data related to gas measurement. Versioning Issues: If there are different versions of gas factors defined for the same period, the system may not be able to determine which one to use.
