BGRFC382
- Cannot delete inbound destination &1; &2 units exist ?The SAP error message BGRFC382 indicates that there is an issue with deleting an inbound destination in the Background RFC (BGRFC) framework. Specifically, the error message states that the system cannot delete the specified inbound destination because there are still units (messages) associated with it.
Cause:
The primary cause of this error is that there are still active or pending units (messages) in the BGRFC queue for the specified inbound destination. The system prevents the deletion of the destination to ensure that no messages are lost or left unprocessed.
Solution:
To resolve this error, you can follow these steps:
Check for Active Units:

- You can also use transaction SMQ1 (for outbound queues) and SMQ2 (for inbound queues) to monitor the queues.
Process or Delete Units:
- If there are units that are pending, you may need to process them. Ensure that the messages are successfully processed or handled.
- If the units are no longer needed, you can delete them from the queue. Be cautious with this step, as deleting messages may lead to data loss.
Retry Deletion:
- Once you have ensured that there are no active units associated with the inbound destination, you can attempt to delete the destination again.
Check for Configuration Issues:
- If the problem persists, check the configuration of the BGRFC settings to ensure that everything is set up correctly.
