  • What causes this issue?

    You want to assign appropriation request &V3& as the original
    appropriation request.
    However, original request &V3& is assigned to program type &V2&, which
    does not agree with program type &V1& of the current appropriation
    request.
    The program type of all alternate appropriation requests has to be the
    same, in order for them to be assigned to an investment program.

    System Response

    Appropriation request &V3& cannot be used as the original appropriation
    request.

    How to fix this error?

    Enter a different original appropriation request, that has the correct
    program type (&V1&).
    Note
    The program type is defined in Customizing. At the present time, you
    cannot change it in the appropriation request.
