Message text: Order w. relationship - Operation number must equal sequence in CMC
The CMC has detected an order with an operation sequence that is not
equal to the operation numbering. The CMC can only handle orders with
relationships if the sequence equals the operation numbering. You do
not have to maintain the relationships within an order explicitly.
However, when linking one order to another, the operation number must
increase its value by a least 1.
<(>&<)>EXAMPLE<(>&<)>
Order A has operations 10 and 20. Order B has 30 and 40. The correct
relationship is made when linking 20 and 30, so that 30 comes after 20.
Orders are treated seperately, but no CMC calculations are performed.
Correct the order numbers within the relationship, so that the sequence
is given by the operation numbering. When this is done, the CMC will
treat linked orders as one.
The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.

- Order w. relationship - Operation number must equal sequence in CMC ?The SAP error message ADPTM187, which states "Order w. relationship - Operation number must equal sequence in CMC," typically occurs in the context of production planning and control, particularly when dealing with operations and sequences in a routing or production order.
Cause: This error usually arises due to a mismatch between the operation number and the sequence number defined in the routing or the production order. Specifically, it indicates that the operation number specified in the order does not correspond to the expected sequence number in the Capacity Management (CMC) settings. This can happen due to: Incorrect Routing Configuration: The routing for the production order may not be correctly defined, leading to discrepancies between operation numbers and sequence numbers. Manual Changes: If manual changes were made to the order or routing, it could lead to inconsistencies. Data Migration Issues: If data was migrated from another system or if there were changes in the configuration, it
