ACM_SYNTAX021
- DCL source "&1" of type "AGGREGATE" is already delivered. ?The SAP error message ACM_SYNTAX021 indicates that there is an issue with a Data Control Language (DCL) source of type "AGGREGATE" that has already been delivered. This typically occurs in the context of SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) or SAP BW (Business Warehouse) when you are trying to deliver or activate a DCL object that has already been delivered or activated in the system.
Cause:
- Duplicate Delivery: The DCL source you are trying to deliver has already been delivered to the system. This can happen if the same DCL object is being delivered multiple times, either by mistake or due to a misconfiguration in the delivery process.
- Versioning Issues: If there are multiple versions of the same DCL object, the system may be trying to deliver a version that is already active.
- Transport Request Issues: If the DCL object is part of a transport request that has already been imported into the target system, attempting to import it again can lead to this error.
Solution:
- Check Existing DCL Objects: Verify if the DCL source of type "AGGREGATE" is already present in the target system. You can do this by checking the relevant DCL objects in the SAP system.
- Avoid Duplicate Deliveries: Ensure that you are not trying to deliver the same DCL object multiple times. If you need to make changes, consider modifying the existing object instead of delivering it again.
- Transport Request Review: Review the transport request to ensure that it does not contain duplicate entries for the same DCL object. If necessary, remove the duplicate entries from the transport request.
- Version Management: If you are working with different versions of the DCL object, ensure that you are delivering the correct version that is intended for the target system.
- Consult Documentation: Refer to SAP documentation or notes related to DCL and transport management for any specific guidelines or updates that may address this issue.
