What causes this issue?

In Accrual Engine Customizing, a setting was made that Accrual Engine
data in company code &V1& can only be created by means of legacy data
transfer (view V_TACEDS_LEGACYM).
If periodic accruals are posted, documents are created in the Accrual
Engine, meaning that the data in the Accrual Engine is changed.

System Response

For this reason, you are not permitted to make periodic accrual
postings.

How to fix this error?

Change Accrual Engine Customizing accordingly.
