The SAP error message 88910, which states "Posted documents are not accessed in test run (see long text)," typically occurs during a test run of a financial transaction or process where the system is unable to access or process posted documents. This can happen in various scenarios, such as during the execution of a financial report, a closing process, or a batch job.

    Cause:

    1. Test Run Configuration: The test run may be configured in such a way that it does not allow access to posted documents. This is often a safety feature to prevent changes to live data during testing.
    2. Document Status: The documents you are trying to access may be in a status that does not allow them to be processed in a test run (e.g., they may be locked or archived).
    3. Authorization Issues: The user executing the test run may not have the necessary authorizations to access the posted documents.
    4. System Settings: Certain system settings or parameters may restrict access to posted documents during test runs.

    Solution:

    1. Check Test Run Settings: Review the configuration of the test run to ensure that it is set up to allow access to posted documents. You may need to adjust the settings to enable this.
    2. Review Document Status: Check the status of the posted documents you are trying to access. Ensure they are not locked or archived, and that they are in a state that allows them to be processed.

    4. Consult SAP Documentation: Refer to the long text of the error message for more specific guidance related to your particular transaction or process. This can provide additional context and troubleshooting steps.
    5. Run in Production Mode: If the test run is not essential, consider running the transaction in production mode instead, as this may bypass the restrictions in place for test runs.
