Message text: Sick pay supplement period is not taken into account for this employee
You have entered an alternative period for the sick pay supplement or
changed the value for the <DS:DE.LFZSO>special rule</> to <LB>00</>
(blank).
The value in the <LS>Special Rule</> field determines whether the
continued pay and sick pay supplement periods are determined based on
the new rule in accordance with sec. 37 BAT or based on the transitional
rule in accordance with sec. 71 BAT (West).
If the special rule is <LB>00</>, the transitional rule for paying sick
pay in accordance with sec. 71 BAT (West) is applied for the employee.
In contrast to sick pay in accordance with sec. 37 BAT, with this
transitional rule, there are only periods of continued pay and no sick
pay supplement periods. The periods of continued pay in accordance with
sec. 71 BAT (West) are therefore based on the employee's employment
period.
If <LB>00</> is specified as the special rule, the SAP system does not
take alternative sick pay supplement periods into account.
Check the value entered for the alternative period for the sick pay
supplement and the value specified for the special rule.
If the sec. 37 BAT rules apply for the employee, change the special rule
to <LB>01</>.
The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.
