Message text: BDA cannot be determined when change is made to pay scale group &2
The SAP system is processing a change from pay scale group &V1& to pay
scale group &V2&. In doing so, it attempts to read the relevant entries
in table T5D7L (<ZK>Auxiliary Table for Higher Grouping and Promotion
</>) and table T5D7M (<ZK>Value of Remuneration Groups</>). However,
these entries either do not exist or one of the tables is not fully
maintained.
The SAP system cannot determine the BDA for the employee.
Check the pay scale change in the <LS>Group</> field. If these values
are correct, contact your system administration.
If required, adjust the BDA for the employee manually before you save
the infotype record.
Check views V_T5D7L (<ZK>Pay Scale Level Determination for Group Change
</>) and V_T5D7M (<ZK>Value of Remuneration/Salary Groups PSG</>) and
add the missing entries. Any pay scale groups between the pay scale
groups specified above must also be entered in the views.
You can also configure these settings in Customizing for Payroll:
Germany under Industries -> Public Sector -> Additional Data on Basic
Pay. You do this in the following IMG activities:
<ZK>Pay Seniority</> -> <DS:SIMG.OHADT5D7L> Maintain Parameters for
Higher/Lower Grouping</>
<ZK>Pay/Compensation/Wage Groups</> -> <DS:SIMG.OHADT5D7M> Define
Classification of Compensation/Salary Groups</>
The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.
