  • What causes this issue?

A MATB1 certificate may only be issued from the 26th week of pregnancy.
The qualifying week, however, is calculated as the date 15 weeks before
the expected week of confinement (EWC) date, therefore as the 25th week
    of pregnancy.
The employee's qualifying week date must therefore be earlier than the
MATB1 date. However, in the case of the dates you have entered, the
MATB1 date is the earlier date.

    System Response

The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.

    How to fix this error?

Check the dates you have entered and correct them if necessary.
However, if the dates you have entered are correct, but the MATB1
certificate date is prior to the qualifying week date, then the
    certificate is not valid.
