Message text: Phase &1 belongs to an incompletely selected/released ctrl rec. dest.&2
You have tried to create a control recipe for one or more phases.
Control recipe destinations are allocated to these phases. You can
only generate a control recipe when you have released all the phases
for a control recipe destination. In addition, all the phases for this
control recipe destination must be flagged at the conversion. This is
not the case for the control recipe destination specified in the

The control recipe will not be created.
1. Release all the phases for the control recipe destination specified.
2. At conversion, flag all the phases for the control recipe
destination.
Note: When you flag an operation, the system automatically selects
all the phases for this operation in addition.
The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.

- Phase &1 belongs to an incompletely selected/released ctrl rec. dest.&2 ?The SAP error message 40014, which states "Phase &1 belongs to an incompletely selected/released ctrl rec. dest. &2," typically occurs in the context of controlling (CO) or production planning (PP) modules. This error indicates that there is an issue with the control record destination in the system, which is not fully selected or released.
Cause:
- Incomplete Control Record: The control record for the production order or process order is not fully selected or released. This can happen if the order is in a status that does not allow it to proceed to the next phase.
- Incorrect Configuration: There may be configuration issues in the controlling area or production settings that prevent the order from being processed correctly.
- Missing Authorizations: The user may not have the necessary authorizations to release or select the control record.
- Data Inconsistencies: There may be inconsistencies in the data related to the production order or control record, such as missing or incorrect entries.
Solution:
- Check Control Record Status: Verify the status of the control record associated with the production order. Ensure that it is fully selected and released. You can do this by navigating to the production order in the SAP system and checking its status.
- Release the Order: If the order is not released, you may need to release it manually. This can typically be done through transaction codes like CO02 (Change Production Order) or CO01 (Create Production Order).
- Review Configuration Settings: Check the configuration settings in the controlling area or production settings to ensure they are set up correctly. This may involve consulting with your SAP configuration team.
- Check Authorizations: Ensure that the user has the necessary authorizations to perform actions on the control record. This may require coordination with your SAP security team.
- Data Consistency Check: Run consistency checks on the data related to the production order. This may involve using transaction codes like COHV (Mass Processing of Production Orders) to identify and correct any inconsistencies.
