    Cause:

This error message usually indicates that the system has detected that the data being entered or processed is either:

    • Already existing in the system for the specified period.
    • Less than the data recorded for the previous period, which may violate business rules or data integrity checks.

This can happen in various scenarios, such as:

    2. Data Comparison: Compare the new data you are trying to enter with the existing data. Ensure that the new data is not less than the previous period's data unless it is valid to do so (e.g., if there has been a genuine reduction in risk).

    3. Adjust Data: If the new data is indeed valid but lower than the previous data, you may need to adjust the previous data or provide a justification for the change, depending on your organization's policies.

    4. Consult Documentation: Review any relevant SAP documentation or guidelines related to occupational health and safety data entry to ensure compliance with data entry standards.

    5. User Authorization: Ensure that you have the necessary permissions to modify or enter data in the system. Sometimes, restrictions may be in place that prevent certain changes.
