  • What causes this issue?

    You want to link an object to a document with document type &V1&.
    Via settings in Customizing (Document management -> Object link), you
    define which SAP objects can be linked to each document type. Links to
    objects are not supported for the document type you chose (&V1&).

    The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.

    How to fix this error?

    If you want to link documents of type &V1& to SAP objects, entries must
    be made in Customizing. If you are not authorized to make these
    entries, contact your system manager.
