  Overview:
  HSMR02 is a SAP transaction code used to distribute hazardous substances master data in the Environment, Health and Safety (EHS) module. It is used to maintain hazardous substances master data in the system and ensure that the data is up-to-date and accurate. 
  
  Functionality: 
  HSMR02 allows users to create, change, and delete hazardous substances master data. It also allows users to view the hazardous substances master data in a tabular format. The transaction code also enables users to assign hazardous substances to plants and storage locations. 
  
  Step-by-step How to Use: 
  1. Enter HSMR02 in the command field. 
  2. Select the “Create” option from the menu bar. 
  3. Enter the required information for the hazardous substance, such as name, description, and hazard class. 
  4. Select “Save” to save the changes. 
  5. Select “Change” from the menu bar to make changes to an existing hazardous substance master data record. 
  6. Enter the required information for the hazardous substance, such as name, description, and hazard class. 
  7. Select “Save” to save the changes. 
  8. Select “Delete” from the menu bar to delete an existing hazardous substance master data record. 
  9. Confirm that you want to delete the record by selecting “Yes” in the confirmation window that appears on screen. 
  10. Select “Display” from the menu bar to view a list of all hazardous substances master data records in a tabular format. 
  11. Select “Assign” from the menu bar to assign a hazardous substance to a plant or storage location. 
  12. Enter the required information for the plant or storage location, such as name and address, and select “Save” to save the changes. 
  13. Select “Back” from the menu bar to return to the main screen of HSMR02 transaction code. 
  14. Select “Exit” from the menu bar to exit HSMR02 transaction code and return to SAP Easy Access screen.  
  
  Other Recommendations: 
  It is recommended that users familiarize themselves with all of HSMR02's features before using it for any purpose, as it is important that all hazardous substances master data is accurate and up-to-date in order for EHS processes to run smoothly and efficiently. Additionally, it is important that users have access rights granted by their system administrator before using HSMR02 transaction code in order to ensure that only authorized personnel are able to make changes or view sensitive information related to hazardous substances master data records in SAP EHS module.
